things i learned while being on tumblr
- opinions are offensive
- unpopular opinions are even more offensive
- opinions are fact apparently
- don’t tag your hate/opinions
- don’t have an opinion
- headcanon = canon and nothing will change that
- white paper is racist
- some shit about mean girls
- social justice bloggers should be automatically ignored
- don’t answer your negative feedback because it’ll look like you’re looking for ass pats
- don’t answer your positive feedback because it’ll make you look self-centered
- night time bloggers are hilarious
- nudity, pornography, and any nsfw material is more weirdly and almost widely accepted than i thought in the community than any other social site i can think of except 4chan
- be yourself and people will like you
- be yourself and people will hate you
- pandering is a sin, but pandering can make you instantly popular (memes, trends, etc.)
- NEVER JUMP ON BANDWAGONS NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WANT TO
- actually jump on the bandwagon they’re fun while they last
- sometimes a joke is funnier when it’s an inside joke, and not a trending forced piece of garbage
